శతయోజనవిస్తీర్ణం పుప్లువే లవణార్ణవమ్ ॥
tatō gṛdhrasya vacanātsampātērhanumānbalī ।
ṡatayōjanavistīrṇaṃ pupluvē lavaṇārṇavam ॥
Meaning: After learning from Sampaati, an eagle about Ravana's
whereabouts, the mighty Hanuman leaped over the salty ocean that is one
hundred yojana's wide.

తత్ర లఙ్కాం సమాసాద్య పురీం రావణపాలితామ్ ।
దదర్శ సీతాం ధ్యాయన్తీమశోకవనికాం గతామ్ ॥
tatra laṅkāṃ samāsādya purīṃ rāvaṇapālitām ।
dadarṡa sītāṃ dhyāyantīmaṡōkavanikāṃ gatām ॥
Meaning: He reached unto Lanka that is under the control of Ravana and found Sita in the Asoka Vana, awaiting Rama.

నివేదయిత్వాభిజ్ఞానం ప్రవృత్తిం చ నివేద్య చ ।
సమాశ్వాస్య చ వైదేహీం మర్దయామాస తోరణమ్ ॥ ౫౯॥
nivēdayitvābhijñānaṃ pravṛttiṃ ca nivēdya ca ।
samāṡvāsya ca vaidēhīṃ mardayāmāsa tōraṇam ॥ ५९॥
Meaning: Hanuman, after properly identifying himself, told the princess
of Videha everything that had happened since and reassured her.
He then went on to destroy the main gate.

పఞ్చ సేనాగ్రగాన్హత్వా సప్త మన్త్రిసుతానపి ।
శూరమక్షం చ నిష్పిష్య గ్రహణం సముపాగమత్ ॥
pañca sēnāgragānhatvā sapta mantrisutānapi ।
ṡūramakṣaṃ ca niṣpiṣya grahaṇaṃ samupāgamat ॥
Meaning: After killing five army chiefs and seven sons of ministers,
and after smashing great warrior Aksha into a pulp of meat, Hanuman was
subdued.

అస్త్రేణోన్ముహమాత్మానం జ్ఞాత్వా పైతామహాద్వరాత్ ।
మర్షయన్రాక్షసాన్వీరో యన్త్రిణస్తాన్యదృచ్ఛయా ॥
తతో దగ్ధ్వా పురీం లఙ్కామృతే సీతాం చ మైథిలీమ్ ।
రామాయ ప్రియమాఖ్యాతుం పునరాయాన్మహాకపిః ॥
astrēṇōnmuhamātmānaṃ jñātvā paitāmahādvarāt ।
marṣayanrākṣasānvīrō yantriṇastānyadṛcchayā ॥
tatō dagdhvā purīṃ laṅkāmṛtē sītāṃ ca maithilīm ।
rāmāya priyamākhyātuṃ punarāyānmahākapiḥ ॥
Meaning: Hanuman realized that he was freed from the Brahmaastra
instantly, because he was so gifted by Brahma. Yet, he acted as if he
was subdued by it. He set the entire Lanka, except Sita, the princess of
Midhula, on fire. He, then, returned to pass the good news to Rama.
**Sita is the princess of Mithula, the capital of Videha kingdom.**

సోఽభిగమ్య మహాత్మానం కృత్వా రామం ప్రదక్షిణమ్ ।
న్యవేదయదమేయాత్మా దృష్టా సీతేతి తత్త్వతః ॥
sō'bhigamya mahātmānaṃ kṛtvā rāmaṃ pradakṣiṇam ।
nyavēdayadamēyātmā dṛṣtā sītēti tattvataḥ ॥
Meaning: Hanuman, the one with the limitless abilities, reached Rama,
the one with great qualities. After doing Pradakshina to Rama, Hanuman
told him about his sighting of Sita, with all the details.
